Professor Elisabet Roca of the Institute of Science and Technologies of Sustainability, has presented the latest results of the DIGNITY project at the Smart City Expo in Barcelona

The DIGNITY (Digital Transport in and for Society) project is a European research initiative within the framework of the H2020 program that aims to promote an ecosystem of digital mobility services that is sustainable, integrated and easy to use, that improves accessibility and social inclusion, the travel experience and the daily life of all citizens. The key challenges of the project are:

• integrate the needs and characteristics of all end users in the design of digital mobility solutions
• support policy makers in planning long-term strategies to reduce the digital divide in transport, taking into account all vulnerable groups (elderly, poor, immigrants, etc.) and gender issues.
