The Master's Degree in Sustainability Science and Technology (MCTS) of the ISST (UPC) offers the possibility of obtaining a double degree with the Master's Degree in Sustainable Intervention in the Built Environment (MISMeC), with a total duration of two academic years and 150 ECTS. This combination allows to strengthen the professional and research profile of the students, connecting sustainability, architecture and urban regeneration.
Today, an interdisciplinary group linked to the Institute for Sustainability of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) met to prepare for its participation in the June Climate Meeting of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which will be held from June 16 to 26, 2025 in Bonn, Germany.
Co-funded by the Interreg Sudoe Programme, the Rural Transition Labs project drives innovation in rural areas of south-west Europe to improve their resilience to climate change.
Climate change is transforming the ecosystems and socioeconomic activities of the Pyrenees, one of the European regions most vulnerable to its impacts. "Exploratori dels Recursos de la Natura" (Exploration of Nature Resources) is a project of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in conjunction with the Berga City Council whose objective is to promote the scientific technological vocation, improve learning in secondary and higher education using as an axis a sustainable approach to nature's resources.
