MCTS students take part in the event “Dones en Moviment: Rethinking Active Mobility”, held at the School of Civil Engineering, a meeting dedicated to placing a gender perspective at the center of the debate on active mobility. The event was organized as a lead-up to International Women’s Day in the BarcelonaBases research project, funded by the Barcelona City Council, and co-sponsored by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Researcher Giulia Sonetti, from our University Institute for Research in Science and Technologies of Sustainability (IS.UPC), co-leads as IP the ReHEALMS project, an initiative funded by the New European Bauhaus that integrates art, health, urban planning and citizen science to rethink hospital environments as living, cared-for spaces and activators of community well-being.

The Master's Degree in Sustainability Science and Technology (MCTS) of the ISST (UPC) offers the possibility of obtaining a double degree with the Master's Degree in Sustainable Intervention in the Built Environment (MISMeC), with a total duration of two academic years and 150 ECTS. This combination allows to strengthen the professional and research profile of the students, connecting sustainability, architecture and urban regeneration.

Today, an interdisciplinary group linked to the Institute for Sustainability of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) met to prepare for its participation in the June Climate Meeting of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which will be held from June 16 to 26, 2025 in Bonn, Germany.
