Tech4Dev 2018: Voices of the Global South, the next UNESCO Chair in Technologies for Development’s 5th International Conference, will take place the next summer, from the 27th to the 29th of June.
The event will take place at Laussanne, Switzerland and will be hosted by the Cooperation and Development Center (CODEV) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne-EPFL.
 
Early bird registration is open until 25 May 2018 for reduced conference fees.
 
Tech4Dev 2018 offers an exciting opportunity to:
  • Participate in one of the world’s most important platforms for promoting the development, deployment, adaptation, and scaling of innovative solutions to pressing development challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with diverse stakeholders – academics, students, engineers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, practitioners, and social scientists- interested in technological innovation in the Global South.
  • Visit the Lavaux Vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the venue for the social event of the Conference on the 28th of June.
  • Build capacity among students and young professionals to engage in multidisciplinary problem solving for social impact.
